GLOBALG.A.P. is a standard that defines Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) requirements for the certification of agricultural products worldwide. It is the world's first agricultural insurance program. It applies to crop, livestock and aquaculture production operations.
GLOBALG.A.P. certification is carried out by some one hundred independent, accredited certification bodies in over 80 countries. In Côte d'Ivoire, Bureau Norme Audit is the first certification body approved by GLOBALG.A.P. to deliver this certification.
GLOBALG.A.P. Social Practices Risk Assessment is a voluntary add-on module to GLOBALG.A.P., covering basic social criteria at production and handling sites.
This complementary module assesses producers' risk management in terms of hygiene, pesticide residues and foreign bodies. The AH-DLL GROW assessment is required for both individual producers and producer groups.
This is a complementary module at farm level that helps growers, retailers and traders demonstrate their commitment to sustainable water management. This module can be implemented in conjunction with the GLOBALG.A.P. IFA standard for crops.
